15 x 10 cragars/speedy wheels
« on: September 02, 2008, 07:22:32 PM »
hellllooow .... probably already know the response I will be getting but anyway here gos, I am after 15 x 10 cragars or the look alike speedy type mags. Check out my gallery, the wheel style as on my campa. I have four 14 x 8  same wheels to swap for one pair of  15 x 10's ....... think about it now ..... thats four cragar type wheels in exchange for one pair of 15 x 10's.  By the way the stud patterns are all HQ. I would like to say that price is not an issue but I won't (buga it I just said it didn't I)  :-\

sorry eddy but ive never seen 15 x 10's in cragars.. so cant help you there but why dont you just get onto your friend with your diff.. im sure if you had the original width then the 8's would fill out the flares..

Somebody correct me if Im wrong, but I thought that for steel wheels the wheel centres are the same size, its just the rims that are different, if thats the case you could get 15" rims added to two of your craigar centres.

There was a guy in Mitcham some where who used to do this, I had some 14 * 7 made for my Signet many moons ago.

Ben they are either riveted or (more commonly) welded in to position, so cut the old rims and welds off and vuala.

thanx guys theyre all good options, I better look into it, the 9" is preferable under the campa rather than the Borg warner so the big rubber look is an option if I keep the 9" but I do so much like the big wheel look, I 'll sit on it for a while, funny things happen when you wait, the campas not on the road at the mo so changing the diff or wheels is not imperative just yet, but please keep me in mind pending a mate of a mates mate who has a mate that has something ....... coool   .... later
