cool warren.. do you know about dragways?? apparently they are bolted together? i want to know if i can remove the centre for chroming and sandblasting or other way round lol

I havent had a close look at the Dragways, but yes they are bolted together, Im not sure if the centres have threads tapped into them or through bolted with nuts on the inside.

If the centres are tapped you sohuld be very carefull in pulling them apart as if there is rust on the bolt thread it can easily "pick up" the aluminium and stip the thread.

Use a pentrating oil and soak for ages befor trying, another way is to heat up the head of the bolts to a orangey red with oxy and then let them cool completely, then use the pentrating oil. The heating expands the bolts slightly and can crack the bond between bolt and centre, allowing the the oil to get in and work on the rust.

As for chatting - well we will have to have another day soon so we can gasbag some more

you can buy 15x10" outer rims with 14" centers
so any 14" center will fit
