FOUND....YELLOW PERIL
« on: July 18, 2011, 09:26:30 PM »
Last week Ken Merrit, the owner builder of Yellow Peril told me he found his old van. He saw it about a year or so ago on the back of a tilt tray, he said it was going to a panel shop for body work and a tan, he was wrong sadly, because it is in a wreckers, i will be picking it up in a couple of weeks but won't be rebuilding it, i will be turning it into a trailer to match the Easy Roller. I told Ken about this and he is ok about it. Here is a pic of it before in its hey day, followed by the sad ones.

no way to treat history, but that is what happed when th van craze started to die in the 90s, owners just parked them in the backyard to rust, then the tip in the end.mmmmmmmmm
