Vic: 1977 CFL 308V8 unfinished rebuild 0kms
« on: April 28, 2011, 12:36:28 PM »
1977 CFL (long wheel base)
Reconditioned 308 Holden Blue 5ltr V8 – has not even been driven in yet.
350 turbo transmission – B&M mega shifter
VK Commodore dash and steering loom
New/reconditioned electrics and wiring
Recaro racing seats
Duel rear wheels
Front and rear sunroofs
Body kit including 2 new fiberglass rear flares
Extractors
new driveshaft
new exhaust

Spare parts:
Long range fuel tank
Disc brake front end
Spare doors with windows x 3
2 boxes of sound deadening material (same as dynamat) enough to do most of the van.
Plus many many extra parts

The van is in the final stages of a complete rebuild/restoration. Underneath mostly looks as new. The beast is an amazing thing and I have had it sitting idle for some time. I just seem to lack the know how, funds and time to finish it. The bloke I bought it off cried as I took it away and I will probably do the same.

G'day brendon , my name is Paul , I sold my beloved beddie back in fen this year and sad since , do you still have the van , where is it up to , do you have any further details including engineers report etc fOr 308 , is it dual fuel of just super , is all the rust really gone?? Are you negotiable on the price .

I look forward to your response , I would like to get another beddy before years out , to be honest , the price is a bit scary at this stage but may be justified . I look forward to heAring from you !!

Sorry for the long awaited reply here... overseas travels and not a lot of spare time.

The van has not had an engineers cert done yet.

There is no major rust just some surface spots due to sitting in undercoat for too long.. nothing some sandpaper wont fix.

It isn't registered or roadworthy yet.

The van is not duel fuel just straight petrol.

the long range tank is not installed.. didnt get around to that.

I will aim to get to the van and take more photos in the next 2 weeks.
