Need some help,but not a handout not Beddie related.

Ok so this is hard to do in a public forum but desperate things require desperate solutions.
I lost my job about 4 weeks back, which sucks but I am on a plane to USA 28 April.
Cant cancel ticket or move to another date and have a genuine reason for going at this particular time anyways.
So I have done the rounds of the banks and Finance brokers and done the internet sites looking for a loan to help with trip but am coming up empty for a number of reasons.
I was wondering if anyone on here had used a company with slighly less rigidty in the rules or are open to working with me on a loan.
Not big,most banks said it would need to be a credit card because it was small but all said no anyway.
Please I am not asking anyone on here for a loan just a contact or direction of anyone they have dealt with who might be able to help.
The job hunting is going ok and have already had 2nd interviews on a couple,so I have prospects.
Again I apologise for bringing this here but I cant think of anything else.

Try a finance broker.
Not just one,... as many as you can find. some really know their stuff but many know absolute jack. Just gotta keep at it.
I dialed up G E finance on the net, filled out the forms online, I was unemployed at the time and just went blaa blaa blaa. $5000,00 was approved immediately and the card arrived 3 days later, then they asked if I wanted to up it to $8000,00. 11% interest.

Thanks Mark,I actually have history with GE that wasnt that great.
Have a perfect history with Cash Convertors and they cant help.
4 Finance brokers,6 banks,5 online bad credit companys and I cant get a couple grand.
Pity about all the letters telling me I have 5,6 or 10g approval right now,till ya need em, then its yep soon as you have 3 months employment call us.
But hey thanks for the reply anyways.

yes it is but you can still buy beer at gas stations.
If u want to drink anything else u have to find somewhere outside of the county.
