Orange Van Found on eBay
« on: March 26, 2011, 12:36:40 AM »
Hi,

I found this one on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230597641478&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123#ht_500wt_1156

I'm pretty interested. Just wondering what everyones thoughts are. Has no seat belts or hand break but looks like to me all the hard work is already done.

Cheers
Geci

dunno how legal that VT rear seat is in the front
I bought a van off ebay without inspecting it for $1000, and paid another $1000 to get it to SA because it had to be winched onto the back of the truck
Dunno if i'd say its a waste of $2000 cuz i've managed to pinch a brake master, diff, seat base, driveshaft etc out of it, so its been great as a parts van
But it was not what i thought i was buying as the pictures were taken some time before it was listed.
I'd at least want to see some better quality pics of this van before purchase, and for the sake of a $39 Jetstar flight to melbourne, go over and have a look

Yeah i'm not to sure on that VT seat either. Also he says it has no seatbelts... which creates further questions. Probably would be a good idea to go over and check it out. I've asked him for some more recent pictures and some of the inside.

I dont think it is up for auction. I think it is just a classified ad but you can make offers on it.

not hard to put beddy seats and seatbelts back in to make it legal
So if you think about it could you get a beddy and do all he has done for 6k  ??? probs not
it is all a matter of perspective and what you want to spend 8)
If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!

I dont think it is up for auction. I think it is just a classified ad but you can make offers on it.

It was listed previously as an auction with starting bid of $6000, i didn't watch the auction though
