Mate that is simple, you can buy the jacks from a few different places, and just mount them in all 4 corners, and when you are ready to park the camper you just wind down the legs or ( electric ) the legs drop down, camper lifts enough to clear the chassis and you drive out. You have locking pins that clamp the camper to the tray when in use. How much a set up would be for manual or electric i'm not sure. But try some of the trailer places they carry different height legs, maybe some of the truck companies.   But i would be interested in watching the progress if you go ahead with it. The other benefit is it gives your suspension a break when the camper is off the bedford.

good point.. i had heave duty shocks from pedders put in a few years ago & also had the rear springs re-set 3" higher for the weight.

the prob at the moment is cash flow... so need to look at something not too costly and easy to do.

 Ok Ok enough chit chating here guys...more pics are the go  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

GUESS WHAT ???  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Another beddy turned up at the Rickshaw motor apprieation day on the foreshaw of lake Macquarie Swansea today ...yaaaahhh ! so good to meet a new van and its owners!
Who have also never heard of w.buga.com.au   :o

Its was very interesting to find out Lee & Roberts, 1979 van, was originally owned by a plumber in tamworth , ours was from tamworth too , owned by an electritian. They had  found a few small areas of rust, that Robert was able to sort out. They have not long came back from a trip to Perth with their car club! The van is pretty well stock too! So hopefull we will have another member for this page soon! Enjoy Lee's Pimped out interior! the little bottles of alcohol are sitting in a manifold with holes drilled in it..boy it got some comments today!
Cheers Wendy & Ray

Hey David, have a look on ebay for your legs, depending on height, length and weight you can fit out your camper for under $400. Prices range from $35 each and up.
