ahhh first 3 not a bedi but an amazing old van restored.. :D
.i wish bedford sliding doors were internal like this one as it would keep the runners nice n clean and free of drit n grit n grease  :(

last wo a bedford home sweet home  ;)

Hi Wendy,

Have you looked into seeing if you can make a sliding door track out of Teflon? When I was working in Indo we skid 400ton generators round using Teflon and Stainless Steel strips as there was very little resistance. When we needed to help slide the Indo crew used grease but it was messy and made Teflon soften so I converted them to use Morning Fresh detergent and the result was awesome and didn't affect Teflon. Two big advantages was due to heat grease would melt and make a huge mess and catch dust making a gritty paste. Whereas the detergent would not melt and even when dried would go wax like and when it came to mess ya just hit it with pressure cleaner and any grit or dirt would be washed clean.

With Teflon it comes in different colours for the different densities. We used white and red as these were the hardest and would not crush under 400ton ( 4 x pcs 200mm x 400mm x 25mm thick ). You can buy in sheets or square lengths an trim easily using circular saw.

Just a thought and may eliminate the grease issue.

Over an out.
