That yellow van, mid mounted, i have a video about the van that i taped off tv years ago. The owner tells the story of how he came to build it, does'nt that engine rumble when he is cruising.

Hey george, any chance of getting a copy of that video (can you put it online) ?
Someone pointed that van out to me not long after I started my website about my custom van, have heard many rumours about that yellow van since, like its got airbags etc but it looks like he is using leaf springs and diff, I believe he is running the rover v8 which is a lot shorter than the chevy v8
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hey busy, not a problem, i will dig it up, and if you have a suggestion on how to get it from disc to pc that would be great, not to savy on those things. YET  ;) it only goes for about 5mins, and i have it on DVD+RW.

George if it is a avi, mp4 or wvm you should be able to put it in your album and link to it.

Hey George, it will probably be in normal DVD format in which you will need DVD to avi/mp4 etc type of software. Maybe youtube it or even better get someone in the know

George what file extension did the editing software save it as ? if is one of the formats I qouted above then you should be able to just upload it, but if it is in a video format then as atk1 says you will have to decript it and then convert it.

If you've saved it on your DVD recorder and then have written it to a DVD then I highly doubt it is encrypted. It'll be saved as a VOB file which most media players worth their salt can play. Using your computer have a look at the DVD file structure. There will probably be a folder called VIDEO_TS on the DVD. Have a look in there and you should see a bunch of files and at least one of them should have the extension VOB on the end.

Look at the file sizes to the right hand side if you have 'detailed' view selected for your files and pick the largest one which should be the main video file. If you double-click on it, it will probably play in Windows Media Player so you can then confirm that it's the right one. Depending how large it is you could copy it somewhere one of us could grab and then it could be encoded to a different format and smaller file size.

Hey Rogue, i had a look at it last night, it goes for about 2 half mins, not long. I have a pioneer dvd/hdd recorder that connects like a normal pvr to the tv, but the genuis of it is i can go into an editing window and cut out all the commercials and crap, so that you are left with just the footage you want. When i put the DVD+RW discs into my laptop and play all is good, so will try and look for vob, worse case i send a copy to shane or someone and you guys can sort it out.
