This is the best bedy going around in my eyes! Every time I see it I just think how many hours and effort went into it. And believe it or not this van is driven every day as his work car, no bs he really does and look how hot the thing is. Could only ever dream to have one that comes close to this one and keep it in as clean condition
No matter what condition a beddy crusing down the road will always get a long hard stare

1976 CF Bedford Van

Whilst the PMG, and later Australia Post, has generally standardised on the Ford Transit van for mail delivery since the late 1960s, this vehicle was part of a small batch of Bedford vans ordered during the mid-seventies. It sports the first version of the Australia Post logo, introduced in 1975 when Australia Post was established to replace the Postmaster forgot to add
General's Department (PMG). This van saw a relatively short service life, after which it was used by Australia Post as a promotional vehicle. It has 69,800 km recorded on the odometer, and remains in close to new condition.

This vehicle is one of the later batch of CF Bedford vans, which were fitted with Holden engines of either 173 or 202 cubic inch capacity.

The van was part of the Australia Post heritage collection, which was donated to the Sydney Bus Museum in 2005.

Engine: Holden 173 cubic inch (2850 cc) low-compression.
Transmission: Holden 3-speed Trimatic.

Cheers Wendy & Ray
