mine's for sale,
It is my daily use van and i will need to replace it with something.

1 green bedford short wheel base.

186 with yella terra head (so i was told, has yellow paint and double valve springs buy i have not had it off.)
reconditioned trimatic,
LPG (60litre) gutless but cheap as,
new uni's,
new highway diff (made by transdiff in 2006 for $2000+)
All (and i mean all) suspension parts renewed/replaced in the last 5 years
disc brake front & HQ holden back (should probably be converted back to bedford!)
new pads fitted and new rear shoes and cylinders supplied
passenger double seat in good condition, drivers seat shreaded
fibreglass dash
no rust in roof or gutters
cargo barrier
alpine stereo, good headunit , rest crap
light truck tires
holden one ton rims
3 small cracks in windscreen, will fail
heater and fan work
sunroof but painted over and foam lined (still opens fine)
rear windows not well done (owner before me was an idiot)
rebuilt steering rack,
great ride, needs panel and paint badly

Hi All,

No real preference as to type of van... my son is studying music @ Uni in Sydney and just needs a reliable set of wheels to lug all the gear around to gigs... plus camping gear etc when they hit the road to play in Byron later this year.

Budget is bugger all... Austudy grants being what they are... 3G or so at the most..

Thanks for the reminders guys...

Some excellent stuff on the forums... especially the pages on flares etc... seeing some of these pics reminds me of the glory days in the 70's... I've been pouring through old copies of Australian Custom Van and Rodder magazines for a few days now :)
