Do these match
« on: March 03, 2011, 05:21:29 PM »
So i have the option to buy these new US indy's (15x7 or 15x8, pic are the ones in the snow) but i'm wondering if they'll match my 15x10's that i have on the back. I know its hard to tell, but what do you think from these photos

They look like a good match photos 2 and 4

The 4 major differences between brands are:

The outer beading - some are flat, some are thin and some solid, ansens are solid lipped
The inner ring - the ring where the wheel nuts go, these can be raised or sunken
The wheel nut holes - these can be flat, washer recessed or washer and nut recessed
The centre cap - can be screw on, pushed in from the back or push on from the front

and some times the holes (jelly bean ones) can be slightly different

I had the same problem a while back, ended up with ansens and cheviot which are slightly different
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

I think the differences is minimal.

The fact that you have the different depth of dish between front an back will also mask any differences.

The big difference could be in your center caps, but no photo so no kan tell

Someone (Maybe Busy) told me the US Indy's only came in 15" whereas the ROH Magnum and replicas were available in 13, 14, 15
Also i have the tyres for 15" and they are so close in diameter to the rears that i can get away with one spare of the same size
