VHS Required

Not long after buying a DVD player the VHS started playing up so I binned it not realising that the heap of movies that I've got on VHS aren't available on DVD, so anybody out there got a good working VHS that they want to part with?

when you do get one, go buy an adaptor from vhs to usb and copy them onto disc
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

you can buy a video recorder for less then $60 now, and i have seen them for $45, me have not had one for years, but copied all my videos to dvd b4 junking it. As for transferring, all you need is the component cables that come with the machine, plug into output RCAs on video, and into input RCAs on dvd player, and into tv and away you go. Nothing more to buy.

Busy Kiwi not real computer smarts, now where I am all i have is a flat screen tv that you can plug one of those stick things in and watch burnt movies and a lap top, it has a section that says burn but have found out that it is for music only, my only other alternarive is to buy a recorder to perform these functions but bloody expensive

Hey Petrol, hervey norman and the warehouse, sams, and some of the others have a twin head recorder for under $60 and new, they are still making video recorders and will for a while yet, and all the cables you need are in the box, but an extra cable is $5 so go for it and you can have it set up by lunch today.
