i thought bedford bearings for 10" drums are symmetrical..

you sure you got the right bearings skip?

do you want me to measure one up to double check before you destroy it trying to get it off?

sorry guys been flat out... warren yes i did but it appears only to fit one way, with concave side facing diff...merlin...the bearings i got are indentical to the ones taken out.. they have a rubber seal seal thats off centre...i put the bearings on axle with rubber offset on the spline side so it was closer to the back off the bearing housing on the diff it seems to fit into housing nug and flush. ben..yes please , i looked online and matched it to a ford 9 inch by photo n casing no..so i thought,,... was talkin to someone  who mentioned that 9s only had 28 or 32 spline axles is that correct??..this is a 21 spline so this deff beddy??.   the diff is attached to the under side of the springs which i thought was a 9 inch trait  when put in a beddy,or am i wrrrr...wrrrr...wrrrroooong  ;D also i thought it was a lsd diff so i put lsd oil in the difff...am a wrrr wrrrong again? i put 2 mil wasers between axle n drum which gave it free roll..only to get it into the cave to start ze bodywork etc , thanks heaps for your time n input guys  :-*

i think you should have bedford bearings skip.

bedford diffs sit underneath the springs. doesnt matter where they are.

yeh definatly bedford diff with 21 spline axels. 10 inch drums. im not sure about your centre but that doesnt really matter for this exercise.

can you please tell us what the dimentions are of the bearings you have? well compare with orig bedford bearings

poss a borg warner centre skip, looks similar to beddie. and a very common convo in its day...look for the weld s on the axles just outside the centre housing.
Can I go play now...?
