Melbourne Cruise - March
« on: February 03, 2011, 12:15:10 PM »
Ok Guys I'm looking for some input.

Quote
sound good.

One suggestion for the next one was a cruise along beach road, maybe the city and western suburbs guys could get together and cruise out to Frankston along beach road and meet up with the guys from the south and head of to Mornington.

mabe some time in March

So I suggest the weekend of the 19th/20th of March with a destination of Dinner at the Royal Hotel in Mornington.

Several muster/start points for different parts of Vic/Melb

The City,North and Western suburbs people could muster at StKilda and head down Beach road toward Frankston.

The Eastern suburbs People could muster in say Ringwood and head down say Springvale road to Aspendal, meeting up with the city crew and continue on to Frankston,

Ben and the Gippsland crew could muster at Leongatha and head to Frankston.

All would meet in Frankston (at Mezzmos factory) and then head off to Mornington from there.

Dinner at the Royal Hotel.

Maybe if it was on Saturday people could camp overnight and do the return trip the next day.

Departure times from the different muster points will have to be calculated working back from the final arrival time in Mornington.

A list of peoples mobile numbers would help communicate and organise on the day, as well as a nominated muster point co-ordinater.

Please indicate if your interested in attending by voting.

All this is open to discusion, suggestions and comments welcome.

Warren

Guys

My kids love these events, and being a shared carer parent I have them week on week off.

I would prefer it to be on a weekend I have them so they can be involved, so the weekends around then that would suit me are.

5/6 March
19/20 March
2/3 April
16/17 April
etc

The weekend of the 16/17 April is the start of Easter school holidays and may be out for manyl.

So 5/6 March anyone ? if not suggest away another date, I will make it whatever, but like I said I'd prefer to have my kids to be involved.
