I have been seeing whats going on there in the news. It's really sad but it's nature and there's nothing that can be done now.

greetings fellow bedites .... I worked in emergency services during the Black Saturday bushfires and lived thru the dark days that followed sharing in the extreme lows of human suffering but also being encouraged by the small highs that followed, it was and still remains a long road to recovery, last week I visited Marysville for the first time since the bushfire tragedy and was encouraged by the resillience of the local community that have chosen to rebuild ... simply feel sympathy for those who have lost loved ones, their pain will last the rest of their lives. Support those that have lost homes and communities. Expect that victims will experience extreme lows but be encouraged that there will also be small wins. Yes anger, depression and feelings of total loss and worthlessness will follow expect that, but so too will relief and thankfulness from victims to those that choose to support these communities and in particular understand their personal losses. Nature gives life and we celebrate her majesty but just as quickly she may take it without asking. My own thoughts are with those who have suffered. My wife and I are currently planning to return to carpentry and commit to 12 months work in Queensland to help the rebuild. To those that have been affected ... stay strong and I hope to meet you within the next couple of months.  Eddy MAC

updates: following further discussion with the budget minister, depending on how soon we have to be up there by, frantic work is planned for the beddie to use as a work van ... soooo .... if I make it by the due date keep a look out for a matt black windowless swb towing a box trailer chugging through the recovery areas in Queensland ... actually prefer it was painted white for summer ... and the windscreen didn't leak ... and the sunroof didn't leak ..... and the back door didn't leak .... and the drivers door closed properly ..... and the passenger window didn't leak .... and the back door had a seal .... and .... crap maybe its easier to get a busted down station wagon  ;)
