G'day

We have had LOT of water around here. We had water in the house for the first time caused by just too much rain in a short period of time and the large cement tank overflowing. I was digging trenches in the dark in the pouring rain. It was not fun.

Down the road a truck yard went under with a lot of stuff still in the yard. There are a couple of prime movers and the car roofs are actually cars sitting high on trailers. The flood was a bit higher, and a bit quicker, than they expected.

G'day

I live on the side of Mungamine Hill so the only drama I had was localised flooding from heavy rain. The soil is fairly crappy so everything turns into a boghole when the ground gets wet enough. After a couple of dry days most of the place is rock hard again. I still got bogged today though.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!
