I think it might be by time logged in as opposed to post count. When it's by post count it seems to be a green light to idiots just to post any old crap so they can get their post count higher. I don't know why because it's not like there's a prize at the end. That's why post counts aren't enabled for your profile. I also think that your time logged in doesn't increase unless you are actually doing something. Shane will confirm.
