Hey i bought a sheet of dynamat (spur of the moment otherwise i woulda joined the group buy in) to cover my engine cover, and it was just a bit short (pics in gallery)
up to about 60kph it is noticably quieter, but at 80kph the engine is still loud. Prob need to do the firewall and floor to get best effect. Just a FYI

Hey mate, there is another batch due around the 17th of december, so if we can get the numbers together, then im happy to go ahead with it.
As most of the people interested in the group buy were involved in the last one it may take us longer to get the numbers together this time, but we can gauge interest all the same.

If anyone does want to register interest in the next batch feel free to let me know

Cheers,
Matte

Wendy, no worries
Jesus, theres no rush at this stage, the boxes will only be available from around the 17th, but the shipping company goes on holidays on the 17th, so you'll have atleast 2 weeks, but more likely a bit longer than that..

Dano, I'd be keen to see the results of your fitment, and the costing.. Is it the grey stuff that has the various colours thru it? or is it a completely different product?
My van has the grey stuff throughout(and has had for probably 30+ years) but the main problems with mine are that it absorbed water, so then rusted holes thru the floor(due to other leaks allowing the water in) and that is has seperated in the engine bay, so its hanging down in various locations.. looks a little untidy, but works quite well. It has stood up pretty well considering how long its been in there, however I'll be renewing it with some of this sound deadener when i get some free time(after finishing a few other things first) And I'll then compare the current heat transfer to the new product.

I was checking this out on the web yesterday - could be a great base coat underneath Matte's sound deadener - stops rust, noise and heat. I see in Ian's gallery that he's mixed it with heatproof paint to do his extractors and exhaust!

Hey Ladies and Gents,
I apologise to you all, most especially Gary and Wendy for the delay on updating this, the next batch is available and has been for some time - I even promised I'd update this when i last spoke to Wendy weeks ago.. So again, deep apologies.

I did post this on the other forums some time ago, but last time i checked there wasn't much interest, so if anyone wants boxes yesterday I'll get the numbers for this forum together and put an order thru asap.

The supplier also has rollers available if anyone is interested.

Cheers,
Matte
