3.5:1 9inch
« on: October 10, 2010, 08:14:18 PM »
Just bought myself what I think is a 3.5:1 9 inch diff for $470!!!!!

Would this be of any use behind a 173?

I think it would be a 100% better than the factory ones
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer

Those 173s are beasts of motors shane :)

More importantly do you end up with all the same wheel stud sizes - its a pain having to carry two different spares.

What I like about the banjo & 9inch is if you dont like the ratio you just get anthoer centre.

Good news guys. I picked up the diff tonight and its a 3.5:1 with LSD!! All for $470!!!

Dano its an F100 diff and is 1650mm from face to face.

Warren I'm going to redrill the axles to standard Ford pattern which will match my front brake upgrade.
