What Colour is yours?

Hi I have finishing the prep on my van and wondering what colour I can paint it. Does anyone know of a web sight or a lace that one can go to look at colour charts?

Welcome to BUGA , Catcher. 
Google any paint manufacturer's name and go onto their website.
But also do a study on the different effects created by, enamel, metalic, 2 part, lacquer,  and gloss and satin.
This may take some time, but you need to know, because there is so much more to it than just colour.

if you decide to use a current car colour go to a car yard to see what they really look like cause those colour chips can be a bit deceiving . i painted a moto cycle for a bloke once with a colour he chose from a chip and what he thought was metalic red was actualy metalic pink  , we double checked with the chip and it was the same colour just looked different on a bigger surface .

Thanks for that. I have looked at a few chips I really like and when I saw them on cars, it looked horrible. I thought I found this nice sky blue, and i saw it on a car it was baby blue. It's costing me a fortune in getting the rust cut out and painted I want to get it right.

Forget colour chips. Find the colour you like on a car and work back from that. Once you see a car with the colour you like either talk to the owner and ask him what the colour is or check it back through a dealer. As others have said, colour chips are not the same as a big area, and on a van it's huge. Also you need to see it in the sunlight to get the full impression.

It's the biggest choice you make and can make or break the look of your van so you need to get it right.
