Yes

almost finished the conversion now

the tail shaft from a trimatic does fit into the T700 box but the box is longer so the shaft will need to be shortened,

is that the info your after?
And you thought owning a bedford was going to be easy.

how much was your adapted plate? and whered you get it from?

it has a lockup tourqe converter doesnt it? like the v8 one? you putting that on a switch if so.

sorry i was actually refering to input spline but to know tailshaft spline is the same is also helpful.

cheers
ben

I bought the adaptor plate and gearbox from ebay for $570 come with a tailshaft as well tourqe covertor and fllex plate.

not to sure if the early boxes had the lock up convertor I believe this box would of came from a vn/vp as it has a kickdown cable, the later boxes where computer controlled. (i think).

not to sure about the input side I just run with the convertor that came with it.

Yes it always amazes me that these guys put all the effort into developing something and then price themselves off the market.

Sure they need to recover their development costs but wouldn't it be a better way to do it through volume of sales and that way you could also make it cheap enough that it wouldn't be worthwhile anyone else spending the time copying it. Seems crazy that they price it so no-one would want to buy it.
