If you dont need the tank I wouldn't mind borrowing it to see what it looks like under the beddy.

Shane should be taking the tank out in a couple of weeks, if you want a lend to check for fit . I'll let you know when it's out. Where's it going same as old tank or under the back.  Under the back was where I was thinking of putting it.

I'd be looking at fitting one in the factory position and one at the back. The first thing I want to do is look at the V6 tank roughly in position and then find out how much bigger the V8 tank is to see if it would fit ok.

Hey shane, when you are checking out the position of the tank for size, can you get some pics of the tank in position ? I will be doing my tanks soon, and was going to get some custom ones made up, but if a VN-VP tank will go in, i may consider useing my VP tank.

Looks like I will have to get the tank out of the VN a lot sooner, I will have it out by this weekend Shane, work out how to get it to you.

Shane,  the fuel tank is out of the VN, its sitting on the garage floor, so just a call when you get back , i think you have my mobile number.
