Do you need tail lights?
« on: September 24, 2010, 10:33:50 PM »
Hey ladies and gents,
I spent the day wrecking a wreckers.. there is a pile, literally a pile of tail lights..
So if you need tail lights for your car or project or whatever, let me know what you want and I'll have a look for you.
Example, right rear KC laser, both rear VL commodore, both rear TJ magna
etc..
I cant say for sure the lights will be there, but there were plenty to look thru

Lots of other parts too, plenty of commodore and falcon dashs, lots of side mirrors - none that look like they'll suit a bedford tho, quite a few different seats - mainly 1990's, lots of steering columns

I basically only have tomorro to grab parts, but I MAY be able to get some on sunday.. so if you need anything let me know tonight and I'll see what I can find

Cheers,
Matte

G'day
I thought Crowns had disc brakes. What are they good for? I know blokes doing up old Holdens want the diff centre as it is a straight swap in. I found a couple of centres for mates but I didn't bother getting any other parts.

I will keep on the look out for you.

Regards
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

Yeah they are disk brakes. I use them on my Celicas to convert from 4 stud to 5 stud.

Carton of beer plus cost of purchase for each set found ;)

Not sure why anyone would do that. The Cobra kits come with a pre built tube chassis. Maybe they use them for something else? Hot rod or something?

some kits were done on toyota chassis so were some rods they also use early dato king cad ute chassis on rods. I think they came from Kylsith
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer

hey fellas, sorry for the delays, ive been flat out lately.. it's taken me 2 weeks to get enough hours tio get my power windows installed.. but mission accomplished.. ;)

anyway, i haven't been back to the wreckers since the monday after i posted, and i think they're out by now.. dont rememebr seeing much in the way of front hubs tho.

I got 1 XB wagon tailight and one XC wagon tail light, they look sweet, but would take a bit of effort to fit to a bedford.
I have a couple of EA falcon steering columns with cruise control switches, plenty of E series falcon ECUs, a couple of mirrors that'll suit bedfords - all non power, plenty of exterior door handles - most wont fit a van without major modifications, plenty of interior window winder handles - most wont fit a bedford, a couple of window mechs from various cars -  most will fit a bedford with some or no modifications, 8 ea-eb snowflake style rims, a couple of power door lock actuators from various models, plus lots of other stuff im keeping for myself ;)

if any of that sounds appealing to you, let me know and i'll get some pics.. I'm willing to sell everything that im not keeping for myself reasonably cheap

Cheers,
Matte
