NZ - River City Vans, any members here?
« on: September 22, 2010, 08:35:46 AM »
Any kiwis here belong to River City Vans?

Am trying to find out some info on the Ohakune van run this coming weekend 25th sept.
Saw it was mentioned in the petrolhead magazine but vanz website has outdated info.

Just basically wanting to know what day the show will be, and if it's rain or shine, if not is there a rain date.

Cheers

I've got the email address at home of a local guy down here who belongs to Rivercity. If no-one else comes up with the goods before this evening I'll PM you with it when I get home.

I think the VANZ website was last updated around 1977.  ::) Actually I better watch it otherwise Garry might have something to say...  :P

...or you could try this...  http://rivercityvans.webs.com/apps/calendar/showEvent?calID=3261403&eventID=92042940

Not me. Too busy here as well as a serious lack of funds and time. Will probably get a bit more keen too once I finally this large hunk of metal on the road.

Sorry David, I can't, you know the reason why, plus it would help to have the Beddie finished, but once done and health back on track, I will be like Garry, couldn't keep me away. Check with Garry and Fish I'm sure they would be there........... :)

Quote
We won't be having a show this year  they cancelled the carrot festival which is were we would of had it, instead we are just having a cruise around Ohakune and mountain, then a beach party on Saturday night.
Oh well, next one maybe

Updated 1977?  :D :D :D Thought it was further back than that. I got a round 2 it for Fathers Day so I might get time one day to put it into action although don't hold your breath. Too much to do, so little time to do it in.

Hope to see you all at the Van Nationals, Easter 2011, Thames, Tapu. Check the events section soon for details.

Garry.
