Window regulator..
« on: September 12, 2010, 11:40:41 AM »
Hi all, was wondering how to fix a dodgy window regulator? im not sure if its the wound up spring by the winder or the roller channel nearer the door latch end that acts as the regulator?
Its not completely stuffed, only seems to let go from time to time, is there a way to refurbish it or do i need to go bedford hunting.. Cheers.. Even better would be a new passenger door if anyone knows where to find one in the waikato  :).. my ones seen better days, in the 90's  ::)

It's not the teeth on the arm is it? They get relatively worn after years of use. If it is I'm pretty sure they can be recovered by having the teeth rebuilt. You could possibly even flag the whole thing and try one of those universal power window conversions.

did my drivers window, found it would have been a lot easier if I had have had 3 elbows per arm and go go gadget arms. you always drop something into the never never at the bottom of your door! ;D
If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!
