This will change the look of your van.
Some people love the look, but others hate it.
But there is no doubt that gutters are a pain  when it comes to holding water.
Mine are quite bad in places, and I'm wondering about deleting them and welding the roof on too.  :-\
Funny old life.

It's a very big job. The roof actually overlaps the side of the van so that has to be shrunk back and I think you are also dealing with three different edges. The roof, the gutter which extends inside the van and the side of the van itself.

My gutters were shot when i got the van, i have taken some of my gutters off, but when i redo the body this time round, i am going to look at ways of loosing the water better then the original set up. But the roof is a while off, i need to get the rest of the body mods done first, and i will need to run some ideas past my sheet metal guy as we go. This probably does not help you now, but i will be reducing the amount of gutters i have, i guess, look at where the water is standing the most and loose that section.

The one on the back of my van was removed when the bobtail and new rear panel was fitted and I also had the one on top of the windscreen removed and had it redirected down the sides of the windscreen. Best thing I ever had done and stops water being blown through the front door seam when you're driving if your door seals aren't all that watertight.

This is about the best I can do here at work. I can take some when I get home tonight if you want a bit more detail.

i had often thought of leaving the front gutter on but , snipping the gutter across the upper windscreen qtr and continuing it down the ledge and doing the same at the rear. about 50mm so you get run off front and rear.
ur a bedford owner ....adapt overcome work it out
