yeah thats sweet Shane.
I like the business directory idea, but maybe we need members businesses too (if the member is willing to have the details on the net) as I'd rather buy the same item form a member than some other random company whatever the item is.

Also, what about something that sends out an email to those that want to be notified when the site goes down, just so we know it is the site and not our pcs. I was going to post this yesterday, and forgot, well surprise me not, i go to connect this morning and the site has gone down again. I have only just got back in 60secs ago.

If the site is down the mail server will be down so unfortunately this wont work.

As for the site being down today, there has been nothing wrong on the server side. Must of been a problem with your ISP.

Hi shane, yeh not sure mate, we had another blackout early morning, so had to reboot the modem, so who knows. I was able to go on line, check mail, but when i tried to get onto buga, it was the only site i was blocked from bringing up, thats why i thought it was down, i got the bigpond message of not being able to find buga. So i kept trying till i finally got back in. Oh well, i just hope that the new fibre optics will be 100% more reliable, when they offer it to us [if] then i will completey overhaul our whole system, we also have tivo connected to our broadband. Hey shane tell me this, if you know, our modem has 4 ports out, can you get a modem with more then 4 ? i have not seen any.

If you need more ports George just go and buy a small 8 port network switch and plug that into your modem/router. You can pick them up for bugger all. A 100mb jobbie should be more than sufficient.
