What brand Tyres
« on: July 07, 2010, 05:20:30 PM »
Hey guys i was just wondering what brand of tyres you are all running?
I'm having trouble finding wider tyres to suit the deep dish mags.
I'm looking at BF Goodrich or Cooper but they are expensive.
So what are people using, are there any brands that are rubbish or fantastic?
Where is the best place to find wider tyres?
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

How much work needs to be done to fit 295's on the rear? Apart from flaring the guards

i have a narrow diff if anyones interested.......i ran 14x 9.25" rims with pro tracs...G50x14...  =285x50x14....these fit inside the gaurds ...just.

the diff needs a new pinion gears as i blew it a week after i had it rebuilt (whilst waiting for my 9") offers....(glad to help out).... it has re-enforcing welded to it , B/W ford stud pattern 3:1 from memory.Dan

RE tyres ....Yokahamas 295x50x15, euro TA's 225x50x15 front

i've found some m/thompsons 295-50-15 on ebay for $198ea +freight and fitting
are these tyres good for mileage or are they purely performance tyres?

I have used them in the past and found them to be good. But will now only use Toyo tyres as I have found the to be a little better, but only my thoughts.............
