CF Bedford SWB Wanted - Perth
« on: June 14, 2010, 01:30:45 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site and have but have been a huge bedford fan for years. I first got excited about bedfords when I used to drive past a house in Parkdale, Victoria on the way to footy training. There was always 3 or 4 vans parked in the driveway. All of them were amazingly restored and I would have loved to have got one back then but as a struggling uni student I couldn't afford it.

More recently a guy I work with had a bedford which he had converted to a 4WD. I've seen photo's of it on your site (its the green one on the beach). That was an awesome machine and it got me thinking about Bedfords again...

So now I have the funds and no more excuses and I've decided it's the right time to buy. A quick run down of what I'm looking for is:

Bedford SWB CF van
Restored or very close to complete.
Running and mechanically sound (more power the better!  ;D)
Registered

I have a budget of about 10k, although will pay a little more if the right van is available. It would be great to find one here in Perth but I'm willing to consider one's in the eastern states.

Please feel free to message me.

Cheers
Simon
