beddydore
« on: May 26, 2010, 06:54:20 PM »
Ok I have followed the lead and brought myself a VN Calias holden commodore with the V6 ...

Am going to put the running gear (and maybe dash) in my standard CF

So instead of a BedFORD, I guess it's a beddydore  ;D  :D

Rogue, don't worry, this is the standard van, not my custom one. I need the standard van as a daily driver as I have to many vehicles here - 2 vans, car and motorbike, need to get rid of the car

means time off the custom van but will hopefully give me a decent daily driver

Actually I was just meaning getting the V6 up and running as mine hasn't really moved since I put it in after Xmas although I'm held up a bit with a lack of cash to get the diff in. I need to recondition the brake calipers (already have the new discs and pads), buy the power steering rack (as that is being fitted at the same time as the diff) and then I can get the diff sorted. After that I will be working on getting the motor into some sort of conditon for starting. Still, on the positive side it does give me more time to spend on sorting out the interior.

Bit of time off the custom will probably do you good anyway. Gives the brain time to recharge.
