My Beddy runs the same plumbing scheme as this and I don't have any problems with it, if anything it can get too hot.

just something to check.
ive noticed that sometimes people hook the heater to the 2 conections just under the thermistat, but in actual fact 1 of the heater hoses needs connecting to the waterpump connector just above where the the bottom radiator hose fits on the waterpump otherwise no water will be pumped through the heater.
so if i were fitting LPG, i would have the water pumping first into the heater then to the gas converter then back into the thermistat housing.
ikm not saying this is your problem, but just an idea, otherwise your heater core might be blocked,
i got 2 heater cores reconditioned and they used commodore cores.

hey Warren, do you have the efi manifold on a six?  I only ask cause I got a black efi 202 in the garage thats been sitting for a couple of years and I was considering doing a swap over with the 253 in the campa pending the arrival of monies for a v6 motor. haven't got a clue how to wire the efi 6 up so like most other projects it sits there taking up space in the garage. If you do have the efi 6 could I have a look at it?

Hey Eddy

Sorry mate, I don't have efi, mines a red motor.

It wouldnt be hard to do, you just need a wiring diagram from a holden of the era the motor is out of, and a beddy one and go from there.

Craig might be able to help with the holden one, and chris for the beddy.

I'd be happy to help out though.

Hi Ben,  Had a look at the beddie, pipework.  Its on the V8, but hoses should be the same, 2 hoses come off the thermostat housing, 1 to the heater the other to the Gas converter.  2 hoses come off the waterpump housing, 1 to the other side of the heater and the other to the gas converter. If that helps good, :) if not it just throws more confussion into the heater problem. :(
Hope it helps  ;D
