WANTED: Rear Tail lights
« on: May 12, 2010, 07:13:41 AM »
I've started doing the body work on my van this week, and I really need to replace,
at least one of the original Bedford tail lights. (its just to deteriorated to go back on)

Does anyone have one or two kicking around that they would like to sell?

Or do I start the search for some kind of alternative lights?

hey numnutz, i am on my second build, same van, but i am doing lights from another vehicle, late model 2000s, it's easier and cheaper then trying to find 30+ yr old lighting. of course if you are doing a resto, than try for originals, i have some pics in my gallery of what i did back in the 90s.

I have a brand new tail light still in the box, found it at a swap meet a few years ago, has a white border
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

restoreid, you lights look great,I like the round lens and the LED's, that's very similar to what I have in mind, If can't get some good original lights.
and you just showed me it would look pretty good, thanks.

Hey Ben can you take a pic of a couple of your best lights? please (preferably with black borders) sorry Busykiwi, hehe  :D
