I'm planning to toss out the 2.3 and auto and fit a holden 202 and auto which I already have. Would the 202 be ok to deal with re the power steering? My Ph oh too one 470 triple 3 kurli (86 )  9:41 pm, Thu 6 May
Yes this engine setup is not a lot dissimilar to a chev v8 setup actually so u would be looking at the cost above 6:53 pm, Fri 7 May

Steveo, my camper runs a Transit rack, but bet this the new black jumbo runs a VN Holden!!!. I know front mounted it woud turn the wrong way, but the guys who did the swap but in a transfer box 3/4 way down the steering column attached to the engine mount ofcourse this puts it back in the right direction for turning. Have they lengthened the rack somehow also? I wouldn't have thought a standard VN rack would be long enough.

Hi Stevo, yep will get a photo of it up, mate borrowed the van today as he needed a towbar, hasen't come back yet. Will ask David (busy) if he knows of these, as would be a good idea if needed to be replaced some time. Bas
Yes Rogue rack has been lengthened as per photo below. Bas

Seems like an awful lot of work when there are easier options out there although I suppose it's one way of ensuring you can maintain the factory standard wheel lock.

Think they just had the whole VN car and used all the bits they needed, doesen't look like much in the photos, but the engineer work is A1, close to a factory fit if there were to be one. The turning is good, but think the Transit under the Camper is a little better, just need to remember to make the turns a little sooner than normal.  :D

Is the rack it self actually lengthened? Or just the rods?
