I would recomend a few cans of ozone depleting head spinning petro-degreasers and a waterblaster.
The manual is handy but not essential (can 'loan' you my CD).
Make sure you have some axle stands and some hand cleaner,
All the suspension bushes are available, pedders, super-pro, etc,
I see alot of new brake shoes and a few new front brake hoses on ebay-uk,
Cylinders can be relined, rubber kits on ebay-uk
I would say you would have to find second hand drums ( or go disc but that's a whole 'nuther story, which would sort of slot in nicely with a front end rebuild ), and for them ask ben

or the wreckers (centre road, springvale, no thongs

) or ask us.
Bearings i just take to a bearing shop and get replacements.
There are bound to be a few washers missing, and probably a nut or bolt will have 'fallen off',and some will be almost worn through where they were rubbing.
Always replace with high tensile,
Most of us have a few spare parts in the garage (i have 6 of those metal rings that are pushed into the back of the steering wheel to cancel the indicators

).
The shocks, monroe i was recently told about $150, and pedders heavy duty $250.
The bracket that is under the shock tends to wear out but can be rebuilt fairly easily.
Ball joints you can get but i'm not happy about the lifespan of some of the sealed ones with no grease nipple
Top balljoints you need circlip pliers but keep the old clip that holds the rubber on as the new olnes have a wound spring clip that is harder to get back on after you have removed the rubber to push it through the wishbone.
Likewise i find the top rubber bushes are 'easy'(relative to how stuffed it all is) to replace.
Bottom ball joint needs a press ('ive bashed the crap out of a few of them, best not too

)
Likewise the bottom bushes, there is a danger of damaging the steel bush sleeves ad/or damaging the threads

.
The bushes on the struts are available, and while you're under there replace the oil pump gaskets, put some dope on the oil pressure sender thread and probably replace the side cover gaskets and rocker cover too,

it looks as bad as my one.
sway bars are not standard nor is power steering
