gidday, appologies for the delay, but I have just created an album in my gallery of the bedfords at the show. Sorry coverage is not as good as Rouge troopers of last years, but i was trying to run the event and didn't take as much time to photograph the vans as I'd hoped. And cant figure out how to create a separate album in the gallery hence have put it in my gallery.

7 bedfords at this years nats, the most represented type of van in the show. also had 4 falcon panelvans, 3 holden panelvans, 3 escort vans, 1 dodge van, 1 morris minor van, 1 mini van, 1 toyota hiace, 3 holden utes, 1 falcon ute, 1 toyota ute and 1 ford jailbar ute. 27 in total on show.

Enjoy, and will try to get more pics off other members and post when I have them.

Cheers Jeff

Hey Jeff, looking at these pics, it appears that the kiwis are stuck in the 70s, just like me, I'm guessing the bedford craze is alive and well over there. Good on you, great looking vans.
George. ;D :D

Who won? Barrys v6 ford escort took out super van(top points overall), my bedford took out peoples choice, Vaughns bedford took out vanners choice, Garys bedford genesis took best big van and best big van interior. Other placings that went to bedfords were my bedford took 2nd best paint overall and 2nd best interior big van, and kanes bedford night vision took 2nd best big van. So bedfords taking 2 of the top 3 trophys and 1 being peoples choice suggests the public of christchurch still think beddies are tops.

Yes George nz vanners are still in love with the 70's and 80's, and we never want to leave. Yes the bedford is making a come back into vanning in growing numbers, which i'm sure all on here will agree is definatley a good thing.

more event pictures can be found on river citys club web site, www.rivercityvans.webs.com, kane has placed 74 photos in their gallery.

Cheers Jeff
