Ben not sure, but don't think so, well not in the VN Holden, don't think they have the lock  T..converter. Maybe someone else knows? mine hits 130km no problems but don't know diff ratio if it's standard or been changed.

nah vn has a locking touque converter. well mine does anyway.. but its v8 model. maybe different? but i doubt it. yours may just not be hooked up.

it will be t700 thats what they came out with standard behind the v6 and v8's in the vn..

Thanks Ben, handy to know, changing the diff soon to single wheel standard Bedford ratio, so if I don't get over the 80k mark will know it is not a T700 or that it is not hooked up. Ben, hook up is where, I guess somewhere on top of the box?  Cheers

i dont know about how to hook up locking tourqe converter but its different to over drive..

overdrive is the 4th gear.. so that will work.

locking tourque converter locks the touque converter and drops the revs another 200 - 300 rpm. same as driving a manual. trany fluid wont get hot either so great for towing. you can hook up tourqe converter lock up to be able to use in any gear making it great for towing also. tow in 3rd locked up. cruise in 4th locked up, going up hill? unlock converter so if it changes down it wont bang (not good for it obviously)

hey bas sorry for the late reply, its running a t700 and the diff ratio is 3:5 well at least i think it is! I bought it off Benny and thats what he said it was - sits on about 1900rpm @ 120km's and reall has a pretty good take off at the lights as well.

Ok then, that means the diff ratio is not really a problem, as far as hitting the speed limit on the open road, would just effect the rev's. ???
