I got a few calls from Ben yesterday and last night.

The van he picked up north was a shemoozle, the guy didn't have a frigging clue. No brake fluid, left wishbone rubbers gone as well as ball joint stuffed, accelerator cable buggered, rubber between air filter and carby held together by duct tape (where the fire happened) coil blown... but he's managed to get them both where they belong so far.

Ben is the most talented dude out and icant thank him enough for delivering my van in one piece.... Despite all the issues it's a sweet van that's really straight and appears to only have a bit of surface rust and screw holes to fix body wise....

Ben has had a major incedent, Yep he blew a thong. But alas all is not lost we managed to patch it up and he is on his way again.
He has just left wodonga with the van packed to the rafters. Its been a very slow trip, travelling at 80 k's.
