UPDATE UPDATE ..... The countryfried beddie world will have to wait a bit longer ... seems the propretty we put a deposit on is not so fine anymore, appears that more then likely they will eventually close Kirwans Bridge. its the longest single lane timber bridge in Victoria and has heritage listing BUT is costing too much for the local Council to repair, only gets saved if Federal Govt get involved ... for the sake of 20 odd residents its a big outlay on the tax payer so we're thinking more than likely not. If we bought we would have to drive AROUND the Lake Nagambie on dirt roads to get to our little piece of Ozzie paradise. Soooo ... decided to wait till another propretty comes up on the township side of the Lake. In the meantime hoping to get the deposit back sooner rather than later as the boss now wants to buy a 4 x 4 to tow the caravan north again. Seems now that she got some cash the beddie tow van idea is not an option for her anymore  >:( Bloody buga now I'm gonna look like another grey nomad carting a caravan behind a everyone owns 4 x 4, funny thing is I ain't quite that grey yet mama dearest!!!! frigginshiteyshiteshitebuggaballbag  >:(

Hey Waz, no we still have the mansion on the hill (along with the four mid twenty year old persons .... ) so they are very relieved they don't have to go out and find a new home (they don't want to move bush with us, such a shame), we're (me and the missus) are heading off on 2 months long service leave 1st July be gone for 3 months all up, returning up north for some r & r before propretty hunting at Nagambie when we return, so no beddie tow vehicle again  >:( ... Hey Marty might come up and steal a bit of your paradise  ;)

hey all good bro, we had to cross a mainstream on a rickety old bridge to get to our propretty but bloody society will close the bridge and force us to travel in the dust forest, that roberts yacht would have been handy  ;D

Eddy l did the country move about 14 years ago, and dont regreat it one bit, can't even hit the nabours roof with a sling shot, instead of scratching on their window when we opened the kitchen window ;D ;D. And the kids always find their way back (even when you don't give them the address) Whats wrong with a casual life style, masive shed, and fresh air?? l tell ya,, NOTHING ;D :D ;D ;)

I second that rossie !!   ;)
We moved North 45minutes from work 8 years ago.
It's worth every minute of travel, just under 1 hectare of space and fresh air. ;D
Sure beats listening to our old neighbour farting etc.

Yep yep agree 100% but we will have to wait till another propretty comes on the market...... in the meantime we are heading north again, looked at a 2001 Pajero yesterday ..... mum likes it alot so looks like I gotta be a relunctant grey nomad again, this time I should fit in better with a fancy pants 4 x 4  :-\   the beddie is still sat in the driveway and I think I saw a tear appear from the windscreen washer when we got back from looking at the Paj  :'( if I remember correctly about a year ago we decided to buy a V8 beddie to set up as a beddie tow project to launch the caravan north, funny how things change when the missus gets her mind set, every morning, changes her mind as much as I change the tv channels (handy things those remotes)  >:(
