Yes Eddy I did a lot of country miles in my Yoof :D

It was the Steak on the Hoof that was dangerious - a lot bigger than the flying Rats  :o

But as allways drive to the conditions and you should be OK

if you drive fast enough you get past them before they realise you are coming. doesnt help if the roo's are already on the road, thats where you need you quick reflexes and to read thier body language. I dont know if the high pitch thingys work, I reckon some of them are gimics.
I have hit one roo once and it was in my Mazda R100 when my lights died mid corner. It hit the front wheel and didnt do any damage to me but the roo died straight away.
If you go to slow they get in front of you!!

i recon they might work, (roo whistles) because on my travels ive never hit a giant hopping rat.
and ive seen them bolt outa the way, but i think u have 2 be doin a good speed for them 2 work properly. 70kms or over.
if i ever go drivin bush at night id rather have them, $10 i think they cost.
wonder what a few sets might sound like 2 them

it says on the packed you need to be driving over 60kph for it to work.. not sure if they made them like that so we cant have fun at the zoo or if its so we would never know if they dont work???
