cool George,
 their awsome birds hey?  :)
yeah ive got 4 adult males and 10 adult female peacocks on our 5 acres.
last year i had 28 peachicks, all gone 2 good homes now,
im buying an e3 incubator this year and going 2 buy golden and amhurst phasant eggs, calafornian and king quail, and some chineese n canada geese eggs and some mandarin duck eggs.
just about any nice lookin water n game bird eggs i can get my hands on really.
ive got 1 chukka partridge and trying 2 find a few more before the season starts.

i was going 2 get some emu,s 2 untill the bloke i bought a few new blood peacocks off told me he bought a pair at the auctions for $800 and took em home and looked after them for a few months, they became friendly as  :) untill breeding season  :o, then the male kicked the crap outa him n put him in hospital with just a few kicks, ouch  :( :-\ :'(,
so he took them back 2 the auction and couldnt of cared if he got $50 as long as they were gone, lol.
that made me think about it , then i thought bugger that,  :D
i can understand as our mallard ducks n geese n chooks etc get angry if u go near their nests or babies ,
but an emu is a very powerfull bird,
glad i never bought any emu,s or  ostriches.

we have geese and the males can get agro, they make better guard dogs then my dogs do lol ;D mate are they dirty buggers, they will be on the veranda and then they will just shoot crap out onto the veranda. the male will look at me when i call him a dirty bugga and stick his neck out and tell me what for. I had a spare 5000 ltr water tank here so i hooked up a pump and use that to wash the veranda after the geese and peacocks, if they catch me in a bad mood they may get a sqirt of water from the hose. lol
George.
