Hey Buga.
Great catching up with the Melbourne guys at the Melb get together a couple of weeks ago. Chatted with you guys about my fundraiser and told to 'put it out' to the rest of Buga.
I'm after a Bedford van to dress up for a charity fundraiser. To cut a long story short, I've been heavily involved over the past 14 years running camps for Camp Quality (camping and recreational programs for kids with cancer.) The main fundraiser for them is a car rally/bash which must use older style cars and dress it/ theme it up.
What I need: preferably a LWB with preferably a V8. I will need to adapt/modify it for dirt roads, so ideally it will also have a highway diff and disk brakes. I am NOT a mechanic, so the better the condition, the more I will pay! And here's the fun bit..... It will need to be decked out like the "A-Team" van! To be painted black with the red stripe, big black bullbar, rear spoiler, red turbine wheels etc. etc. (See photo)
I know I will need to spend a bit on the modifications so any help with be grateful. I know Mark, Ben and a few others have offered their help already.
So, if you've got a van that you are contemplating selling, or know someone that may, please drop me a line.
Check out www.campquality.org.au click on esCarpade.
Thanks guys, Adrian - 0488 777 888.
1978 LWB, V8 - 308, turbo 400, 10 bolt diff, dual rear wheels, 2 x LPG.
In a word .......... GOLD !!!

Hi Jimsvan,
Thanks for the reply. Are you selling the one with the conversion done to it or the other one. What's the condition?

Where abouts are you located? Happy to have a look and see what I can do with it. I'm reasonably flexibe with pickup so plenty of time you to take out what you need.

If you've got more pictures, please email adrianferris@optusnet.com.au

Thanks jimsvan,

Adrian.

hey jimsvan,

Thanks for the photos. Do you know how far away you are from receiving your van? I have had a couple of options presented to me. Liking yours but need to know how much I'll need to put in to get it up to scratch. Thanks mate, Adrian.

its only about 3,200km straight home but because we have to zig zag so much it will end up being close to 4000. so the plan is straight home. we have a time shedual too cause people have to get back to work..

will be considerably less now thou cause we dont have to pick up 2 vans any more. only 1. the other one is being picked up by someone else.
