sorry marty i dont think its a good idea. its gunna take weeks and weeks of work to make an extra 500 - 1000 bucks? you may as well work your normal job and make 500 - 1000 bucks a week.. it may even cost you money unless you rip out the whole dash diff wiring loom everything. which you cant do cause its duel wheeler, and you have a single wheeler.

ive done this and it doesnt work for me. i have air tools, lifting cranes, you name it. only thing i dont have is a car hoist and concrete workshop floor but it would not save you enought time to be able to earn any where near as much as your normal job..

sorry for my negative view.
good luck, cause it could turn into a nightmare..

on the upside the turbo700 is worth quite a bit (hopefully its not a standard one thou.. mine is built for a 400 chev:)) and same with the 307 so you may do ok. its what i have in my van. id prefer a 350 or 400 because the fuel econ is same just less power. but the 307 is a very strong reliable motor!

Ben, I don't think he is doing it to make money rather he wants to v8 his van and the new one gives him everything he needs and provides a template as to where it all goes, then he can put his six into new van, sell it and hopefully come out cost neutral or somewhere close to
If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!
