Yes Dano it does have a disc brake front end, the gutters look good apart from a tiny bit of rust above the passenger door.  not sure what you mean buy the narrow diff, if you mean the axel looks to short and the rear wheel sit right in under the body work then yes it is narrow. if you haven't guessed I have no mechanical or panel beating experience so I'll be asking lots of nube questions. It has the 186 motor which i guess is pretty standard, it wasn't running when i got it but I fitted new points and coil and got it running. It runs a bit rough but it hasn't been started for about 14 months, guess it needs a turn-up. the only thing the previous owner did to it while he had it was go to spotlight and get some horrible cheap fluffy material to glue it over 80% of the interior with with contact adhesive glue. I pulled the material off but I Have no idea how I'm going to get the glue off.

probably a lot of sanding....

if you type in "Spray Adhesive cleaner" you will get a few products that claim to remove it... 3M apparently make one or two...

i have never used either products so perhaps another member can let you know if they have used them and if they were worth the dollars.

did the beddy still have the set of dice around the mirror?  ;D

think u can get a product called glue remover wot may work ok, or possibly a heat gun to warm it an then scrape off, but gotta be  really ginger wiv the heat just warm it , too much heat will start to lift yor paint on the other side less yor gonna repaint it which case go for yor life, hope they didnt use liquid nails.. shatfull stuuff to get rid of

yeh i pulled my hair out for hours looking for the chassis number on an early van when it was in the left wheel well.. could not belive it when i found it.. of course it had been covered with sound deadner so i could not find it!!!!! almost stripped back the whole firewall looking for it!!!!

you mean they have chassis numbers??? i thought it was just the fire wall numbers for beddies!

nah the one on the firewall is the chassis number.. yours must be later model.. mine was early and didnt have number on the firewall.. but inside the passenger foot well.

Mine has 3 plates, 2 in the drivers side wheel well and 1 no the drivers side firewall. I still can't figure out what year it is which was the reason I wanted to find the plates.
I've been using a wire wheel in the dewalt cordless drill to strip the glue off the inside. it only works in the morning when its cool, once the air temp heats up the glue just smears around and makes a bigger mess.

Heres a before and after pic.


The glue isn't the only prob I want to fix, it has the worst sun roof i've seen


and someone thought this would be a good way to mount a rear seat.

there are some rubber wheels on the market 2 take pinstripes off,
give 1 a try . hopefully it might work better than the wire ones,
we used 2 use HQ-WB chassis rubbers (the bigger 1 of the 2) on a 3 inch bolt with a washer either side of the rubber 2 strip pinstripes n glue.
worked a treat, and cheap as from a wrecking yard.

your wire wheel might work better though, im not sure, good idea about doin it when the glue is cold in the morning, :)i
