It's a bit hard Roughe, here in Victoria, Vicroads have rewritten their code for modified vechicles, let us know how you go Grumble, Do you have to get inspected by vicroads aswell?

Poor you guys. It sounds like they've written the word 'modified' right out of it.

on the other hand every man and hius dog has unengineered modifications on their vehicles and get away with it for years cause no yearly inspections..      i have had lots of mods passed by inspectors cause they dont look non standard ie disc brakes, diff mods, seat swaps.. and maybe cause my inpector sold me a bedford once and has a soft spot for the old beddies:)

they are not allowed to advise you because interpretation is a liable issue and gov departments are not run by engineers . Sad but true try dealing with the epa,dep mines, dangerous goods ect.all have diffrent inteps over the same issue.

hey guys you think that is beauracracy, try this on, feds pass legislation on disabilty parking, state gov, well their not sure what their roll is, local council approve disability parking, qld transport issue parking permits, but with all those gov depts not one is responsible for enforcing the rules for the disabled. If this is'nt political BS I dont know what is. I know this has nothing to do with beddy's, unless your trying to park one in a wheelchair space.lol  ;D no, my point is we have all these gov depts responsible for certain things, but no one wants to commit or make a decision, this is what we pay our rates, tax, rego for, run around and buck passing.  ??? ???

well i will be parking my beddy in disability parking...

im a care for my daughter who happens to be a disabled child. and yes im sick of all the lazy arsed people who park in them for their convinced while leaving actual disabled people and the people who look after them walking sometimes hundreds of meters.
