What a bloody beautiful day!  ;D 10 Bedford mongrels turned up in all configurations of progress! I had a ball meeting you all! Lots of insights and knowledge exchanged, great BBQ and location. Here are some photos, until I work out how to set up an album..
1976 SWB CF, 186 block, LPG customised VK EFI self ported Head, LPG converted Ram tube manifold, Extractors, Supra 5 speed, Falcon hwy Diff, HQ Disc brakes, Commodore 3 core cross-flow radiator, HEI, 90 litre LPG.
It can drive up a wall in 5th gear and across the Sun without overheating!

Was too buggered to upload anything lastnight after i got home and tucked the Beddy in. All in all, it was an awesome catch up =) It was great to meet everyone and check out everyone's vans. All them were unique and had their own story - which was great to hear from each owner. It was a great idea to meet somewhere before the run, cause then we could check out each van before we were driving. We had a couple of non-Beddy owners come and check us out at the meeting point as well - which was cool. Guys who were looking to get a Beddy or whatnot.

It was quite a sight for the peeps attending the Warrendyte festival to see a plethora of Bedfords convoying up the road past them. We got some great looks =) Can't tell you how good it was to be cruising up the road with 4 Beddy's in front and 5 behind. I can vividy remember looking in my side mirrors and seeing Jan and Sway in THBED following a couple others on my tail - she really stands out with her blue and purple !!

Thanks Rothu for bringing the burners and letting us use your gas. And for breathing fire for us - yes he actually was doing fire breathing, LOL!

Great to meet all you Bedford brethrin - let's do it again soon. Or maybe when Benny gets his license back. (Let me know if you need anything done this side of the burbs mate.)

I have heaps more pics, but will post a couple of all of us lined up. I'll post the video soon. Can we do a gallery that we can all put pics into - somehow?

wow ... looks like it was great get together !!! buga I missed it, I only live about 15 minutes away but after getting home at 2.00 p.m. after being awake from 0600 the previous day and run walking a 21 hour marathon to raise funds for cancer research, the legs, ankles, knees, toes, glutes, hammies and everthing else that has ligaments and tendons attached (including my bot bot that was dragging behind me on the ground) was severly in need of rest, I reckon I drove home from Sandown on memory auto pilot cause I don't recall seeing the road home until I nearly bumped into my letter box , there was just no way I could have coped with staying awake for another few hours  :(
ekm ...... never lead with your chin, let others lead with theirs
