hi to all bedford owners/fans i have finally decided to go 350 chev im looking at a nice 250 chev atm haven't brought it yet but will be buying one and i need to know what i need and what modifications i need to do to get the motor in fited etc so anyone who has a 350 chev in there van can u please give me some info to what i need to do and what i need etc i would appreciate it very much, i just got the bedford in my name now its play time lol

no stress Jimbo.... there is plenty of knowledge on here mate .....were do we start...you need a good boily mate (boilermaker) welder /engineer to check welds and a good grinder operator....norm the same bloke.

air cond for the grinder op. so he doesn't get hot............sorry ben 

more to come jim...got to go to bed ...mind starting to wonder...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hay, check out Garry's conversion on Vanz website, Garry is known on here as (Sundownernz) hope the link works.
All the information you will need, and it is a conversion into a LWB as well.

Hi George,

No I haven't yet but should get on to that. Would be rather useful if I can find some time. Too many things on at the moment but I do have a rather long sea trip coming up in May so will put that on the list to do during that time.

something to consider is moving the motor back and down with your conversion.. my sump is below the crossmember and pulley behind front crossmember. engine mounts made from holden 6 engine mounts turned around and off the back of the crossmember. my van handles like a car:)
