One of my vans has windows down the passanger side and seats in the back and yes it does make a difference for the passangers.

If you dont want to cut the body get a side door with a window in it, that will give the rear passangers somewhere to look out of, and you can replace the solid door when you feel like it.

Having a window on the passanger side does make right turns easier.

contrary to what everyone else thinks i dont think the are rare but yes a little harder to get. i have 3 windowless vans right now and just sold one.
