Things i need and DASH info....

Hi Guys,

Well panel work has begun, cutting and grinding, and welding....Now the 1 thing ive learnt in the 2yrs ive had my beddy, is this.....dont get excited cause there is alot more to go.

The good thing is im slightly ahead financially, ive agreed on a price for the bodywork including the body mods, and paint (only need to buy the paint now...which is another story)...

BUT this leaves me needing the normal stuff....i have posted before and was going to reuse post but, couldnt edit it.

Really want as soon as possible...

1/ Window wipers (i have the motors still in it, but wont knock it back as a full assembly)
2/ those round surrounds for the headlights.
3/ New seat belts that will fit where the old ones were (maybe you know a store)?
4/ Rubbers, for doors (2x front and 1 side) 2 x window and also interested on maybe getting all the rubbers/stuff for the windows (its been sitting for 20+yrs could do with some new touches)...

RE-RUBBERS::::Now before everyone goes "You can get em from rarespares etc" yeah that is my backup plan (although my latest search didnt have them listing them??) i figuer maybe some members have new ones sitting around for whatever reason that they wouldnt mind selling for a bargain (ie: dont bother just knocking $20 off new prices...cause ive learnt its worth the $20 to have a shop to go to for answers) im talkin bargain peoples.

Now this is sorta 2 parter.....im sure my speedo doesnt have a needle? and thus as i plan to put a fibreglass dash or maybe make one myself, i thought i might check to see if someone has a fully assembled (not necissarly painted or covered just some gauges etc that you know works perfectly or near enuff) then id be very interested...

Part 2: Does anyone know what type of Tacho's i should buy if i was to make a custom dash with new gauges? simple but classy. (i am seeying $$$'s of dollars for sets, just on ebay...im stunned at the costs) ?

I currently have the money for some or all of these things (at a good price) so id prefer local to buy from.

Hi Kirk,

Great news on the progress mate, coming along nicely. I have my original dash here (its in two pieces (front and back part) you are welcome to it - the speedo was definitely working when i stripped the van down as were the rest of the things.
