Bedford to butcher wanted - prefer perth
« on: November 11, 2009, 01:56:02 AM »
Hey fellas, i know i might be struggling here, but i need a van that is likely a wreck that i can cut a piece out of.

The piece i'm looking for is the piece of steel with a lip that runs under the windscreen, that the dash mounting and screen rubber mount onto.

That part of my van is in a pretty poor state, and it'll be much easier to cut that part out of a van than it will be to fold up some steel, then bend it to shape and try to maintain the perfect gaps top-to-bottom.

If anyone knows of anyone that has a van with this part in good to perfect condition, then let me know
if you know of anyone that has this in poor to reasonable condition let me know and i'll inspect it to see if it is usable.

If noone in perth is able to help, i may have to look east for someone that can help..

Thanks in advance

hey fellas, dont stress. after looking at it with fresh eyes this morning, it'll actually take less time to fabricate it and get it perfect than it will to butcher another van, then butcher this van then get it perfect, so we'll just finish everything else, and leave that for last.

cheers anyway
Matte

hey noticed that your in karrinyup, me too. I'm a new member and have joined up hoping that someone in perth can help me out.

I need to get some serious panel beating done to my bedford Nasty. I also want to remove the back doors and replace it with a customized rear end. I need to find a workshop who is can take my ideas and turn them into reality.

can you or anyone you know help?
